I have a family of 6. Laundry is a never ending chore. I have done 3 loads in a day just to keep up. Now, I only do one load a day or maybe every two days. I can finally wash my king size comforter at home. It does an excellent job washing, even the sweat filled clothes come out clean in one wash. No clothes or sheets come out twisted up. Spin cycle is fast and not too loud. I love this washer. My one complaint is the end of cycle tune it plays is really loud.

I love this washer and being about to customize the wash depending on the type of clothes. You also get to further customize if you want hot or cold water, spin cycles and so on. It is nice to be able to delay start on the washer too. It is just a great washer if you are in the market for a new one. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

WiFi connected washer saves time

I do the laundry for my family of six so when I bought this for my "family" it was really for myself. But nobody is complaining because clothes are coming out cleaning with a faster turnaround time. This washer/dryer combo washes clothes better, more gently, holds more, uses less water/energy, has useful cycles, and notifies me when it's done. I recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a WiFi connected washer. My first impression is the drum is HUGE! I immediately washed all the bulky items that have been waiting for me to buy a bigger washer: comforters, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. Big items were no problem and the pre-soak and deep fill features helped out. My favorite feature has become the active water jet. Obviously it works for stains, but I use it most to fill up the dog's water bowl saving me a trip to the kitchen! I upgraded from a much older washer so this one is nicer in every aspect. I'm excited to lose the agitator in the middle as I can put larger items in without them getting twisted; easily tangled items like bras don't get tangled anymore. I appreciate the soft close lid that won't angrily slam closed. I use the presoak often; this was a feature I manually did on my old washer so it's nice to have it integrated. The app is useful and keeps laundry day on track. I already made it to the first suggested "self clean" cycle so this washer is seeing lots of use!

I needed a new washer , my old one couldn't keep up and it took more than a day to finish my household laundry. I have to say this washer has been amazing. The quick wash takes less than 30 minutes and the capacity is great. Now I finish weekly laundry for a family of 3 (including an infant and a construction worker) in 3 hours or less. It also helps the design of the washer is beautiful and modern.

This is definitely not my mother's washing machine! It's high tech, quiet, and makes my life easier. The super speed wash is a wonderful tool when you need something washed in a hurry. My favorite is the delicate cycle since my works clothes come out so incredibly clean and undamaged. Last but certainly not least this machine is beautiful! The ivory and gold blend together so nicely. I love it!

This Samsung extra larger washer is everything I could've ever dreamed of! This washer is large and completely gorgeous. It holds so much laundry and gets the job done. It's super quiet and doesn't take up much more space than any other washer. It's sleek in design. It is tall for me. I am 5 foot 6 and I have to get on my tippy toes sometimes for socks at bottom. This washer is a little larger in capacity, width and height than my older washer The app is fun to use but I thought it would be a little more high-tech since its from Samsung. THE WORST purchase I've made for our home

within a week, it was giving me clutch error codes. it said to unplug & start the load over again. 3 months later, it stops mid cycle, won't drain or spin. cs said its almost a 2 week wait for repairs. 100s of dollars of diapers sitting wet inside the washer. they looked at it today & i need a clutch & a motor which have to be ordered so now we wait another week+. we're a family of 5 with 3 babies. we do laudry daily. this is unacceptable. i used my entire va disability check for the month to buy this washer & dryer. i'm 5'0, i have to use a step ladder to reach the bottom. it cannot handle queen size blankets, let alone a king. i wish i could return it

Amazing Samsung Washer

We have had this Samsung washer for several months now and we like it a lot compared with all the washers we have ever had in the past. This Samsung washer has several settings for temperature of the water and I love that. I love that there are a lot of rinse choices and spin choices versus others that only have a few options. Another benefit of this washer is that it has a setting for waterproof bedding. I really love that there is a self cleaning setting and it reminds you when you need to do a self-clean. It even has a special setting for whites vs. darks. There are so many settings and choices. The most important thing to me is that it doesn't have the tube in the middle of the washer. I can fit a lot more things in it this way and it is sooooo much quieter.

I love my new washer. The size allows me to wash more clothes at a time, which is great for a family of 5. I have tried the normal, deep wash, bedding/waterproof and quick wash cycles. The one I use the most is the quick wash cycle that washes a load in only 28 minutes. I also love the faucet inside the washer that allows you to pretreat clothes before washing. The vibration reduction technology makes it very quiet which is good since my laundry is right next to my living room. This washer also has the smart feature which allows you to send your preferred cycle from your phone. It also allows you to see how much time is left on the current cycle from your phone. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a new washer.

I probably should still read the manual to get to know all the features but I'll get to it one day. A great upgrade from my previous machine. This machine is very tall. I'm 5'11" but if I was any shorter I may struggle to reach the bottom to get small items. Plus I got a great deal. I would highly recommend.

Do not buy! The spin function does not get the water out. The drum does not have the power to wash blankets. You have to fold blankets a certain way according to the directions, but still can't manage it. Don't let the large bin fool you. It can't handle it. The bin is very deep if your short it is hard to get clothes. The bin makes a rubbing grinding sound, but others had same issue and it is just the way it is made. The machine is also loud. Run don't buy!

I love the Samsung Extra-Large Capacity Smart Top Load Washer with Super Speed Wash! The Super Speed Wash is a fantastic feature along with the Active WaterJet. The Active WaterJet, saves me the "presoak" time for all of my dirty workout clothes and with a toddler and not much laundry time, the Super Speed Wash is a huge time-saver ! The extra large capacity helps reduce the amount of times that we wash clothes per week, which is a huge win in my book. The SmartThings app is super helpful! Let's be honest, we all forget if we did a load of laundry and wash it twice. Cool experience trying the smart washer with app

This is my first time trying out the smart washer with the smart app. It is very stylish washer which fits in my new home so good. And with the app I can get notified when the washer is done or indicating how long it remains even I'm not at home. (Which is good for mom of 3, I forgot to leave the laundry in the washer overnight few times.) and also there is even laundry receipt for all materials you wash. I like there is special function for my water proof mattress protector and a category in the button just for it. (And you cannot mix with other material laundry.). Overall it's very good. But I do wish there is a category for cloth diaper since I wash cloth diaper all the time.

What a washer!

This is a really great washer. We have been using it now for well over a month and I'm impressed with it all the time. My favorite thing is the capacity and tub design. It's absolutely huge. I can fit so much into the washer. I was even able to wash my comforter which had to be done at the laundromat b4 we bought this washer. That was a pain. I love all the settings choices. Our cat peed on my bed when she was accidentally locked in our bedroom 2 days before the washer arrived. I stripped the bed and waited the 2 days to wash it. I selected the maximum soaks, spins and rinses and despite sitting for 2 days every single bit of cat urine was washed away. No smell, no stain. Nothing! I was shocked. I only have 2 issues. I have short arms so I struggle to get to the bottom of the washer. I'm going to invest in a wood stool so I don't scratch my washer. My other issue is just that we have to plan laundry now because it takes almost all the water when it is running so u can't fill things easy (tub, pan etc.) Other than that I am completely delighted. It is truly the best washer I have ever used!

The washer itself is very visually attractive and sturdy. Plus the washer interior is very large with stainless steel and no agitator, which you can wash very large loads and large items very easily. Of course the washer has smart compatibility, and you can change settings on your phone and upload custom wash cycles. One feature I noticed right away is the Vibration Reduction Technology. The washer is able to sense and balance the load, including heavy loads, which makes the spin cycle much quieter and with less movement. I don't have to worry about putting rugs and comforters in the washing machine. Also, the bedding preset is very useful. It dries bedding more thoroughly, and I don't have to dry sheets and comforters over and over again.

The wait was well worth it. Our stackable set recently gave out on us and this was a perfect replacement. We are a multigenerational household so we have tons of laundry! The Washer is a great size it can handle clothes, blankets, and comforters. We were so surprised how beautiful the unit is in person. The controls are easy to use, very intuitive. Our last unit was a front loader and we are definitely happy with the top loader instead. You can set it to any number of rinses and spin cycles or even no spin cycle. Definitely love the how the clothes are so much more dry coming out of the washer. Run your towels on the "white cycle" fluffy beautiful towels. Highly recommended washer.

I am just completely love my washer. The ivory color with tinted glass lid looks stunning . The drum looks really big and hold a lot more clothes than my previous washer. So many new options . With sports kids , active wear option is very helpful. It also has option to wash waterproof mats, jackets. The additional comparent for bleach . We can choose level of spins and number of rinses. We tested wfi settings and it's amazing . It also has self clean reminder. Love it. I would like to add a few features that I love The quality of the plastics used at small places The vibration of the machine while running is nil The noise is extremely low comparatively, much lower than my previous washer I like water proof washing feature which helps me washing outdoor picnic mats, mattress protector and jackets. Another notable feature is this washer has option to choose number of rinses accordingly . The time adjusts accordingly without changing the setting . As overall I like the appearance and quality . I love the Samsung washer more than the Samsung range lol

Quiet and efficient

This is a nice and quiet washer! I love that it is a top loader because it looks neater for a washer. I like the sleek design and the gold knob to change the settings. I think it is a very deep washer. While it does hold a lot of clothes and heavy blankets, I almost need a step stool to bend over the washer to reach things. I have considered buying a "grabber" just for this reason. I like that is is compatible with the Smart Things app, and I can make pre-set settings for my loads of laundry. The settings are highly customizable and I love the little song it chimes when my laundry is ready.

Fantastic washer

I am incredibly happy with my purchase of the Samsung top load washer. It has a huge capacity, which is great because I have a toddler who goes through multiple outfits a day and I frequently need to do large loads of laundry. All of the different setting options help provide the most appropriate wash for the various items that I have. The SmartThings app is an incredible extra feature that I never would have thought existed! I am super happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anybody.

So Beautiful!

I just received delivery of my washer last week. I did not use it right away because it was far too nice for my very dingy basement laundry room. Yes, I had to put lipstick on my ugly laundry room before I could use this washer. Well, I have not completely finished with the room, but I started using this unit a couple of days ago and it did not upset. The drum is cavernous and it was difficult to gauge exactly how big it was because what would fill my old washer only took up a very small portion of this unit. I am still learning how to use this vey sophisticated unit, but I am very satisfied with the results so far. The washer does not use much water and I am not certain that this is part of its normal operation, so I find myself using the Deep Fill function just to be on the safe side. My clothes smell fresher after being washed compared to my old unit. I find myself mesmerized trying to peer through the semi-transparent door to see the magic happening inside. I wish there was a light inside because I would not hesitate to stay and watch the whole cycle. The cycle for a normal wash does seem a little long; it's probably because I am using improper settings, but it's still very new and I am still learning. I must also mention that this washer is very quiet. I give this washer a 5 for looks and performance.

Great capacity

So far so good. I didn't get my washer/dryer until last Monday. We've been able to run several loads through them and they are working great. I love the extra capacity. The washer is so big, I can barely reach the bottom of the tub. It also seems like our clothes are coming out a little cleaner than with our older washer/dryer units. I've hooked up each to the SmartThings app. I can get basic notifications and am still working on what else I can do remotely. I like the options for the different types of washes. Also nice is the quick wash for those items that aren't really that dirty and just need to be put through quickly and save some energy. Another neat option is the see through lid. I like to be able to see into the tank and see what it is doing.

would have been nice to get to use the washer before it broke but i received a bad apple. no sooner than the installers left, there was water all over the floor. checked all the connections to find that the machine is leaking from the bottom. now i have to wait for who knows how long to get a replacement...would have been nice to be able to use it before it broke!

Great washer

very happy with this washer. the drum is huge! i can fit all my queen size bedding in one load; sheets blankets and spread! i really like the delay start feature. i like being able to put a load in at night and have it run in the morning finishing when i get up so the clothes aren't sitting wet in the washer all night. at first i laughed about linking a washer to the internet but i really like receiving a notice on my phone when a load is done. ran our first clean washer cycle today. very glad it has this feature. the only negative is that the drum is so big i can't reach the bottom. i'm 5'2" and when there are small items in the load i have to put my head and upper body into the drum and my feet come completely off the floor so i can reach them.

Love my Samsung washer

I love my Samsung washer. Everything comes out so clean. I love how many different settings there are. There are so many!! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. I am in love with the rose gold accents. The drum is so big! I love how I can throw my couch cushions in the washing machine with no problem. I have never been able to do that before without going to the laundromat. We all hate going to the laundromat! If you get this machine by by laundromat! I got to say the only problem I'm having is it is so big and deep I have to have a step stool. I am only 5 1 so no matter what I cannot reach the bottom of the washer machine. My husband had to go buy me a step stool so I could do the laundry. I'm not complaining whatsoever. I'm just putting that out there. Not everybody has short girl problems. The only other thing I would say is you need to leave the lid up after doing laundry just for a little bit for the moisture on the underneath part of the lid to dry. I don't know if it would dry on its own closed without becoming smelly or not, I have not tried it. To be honest, after owning a front loader I'm a little nervous too. I got to say though I really really really love this washer machine! If you are in the market for a new machine I highly recommend this one. Being short and all...lol!!

Great washer

First impression was that it's a beautiful washer and exactly like it he pictures. After setting it up and washing my first load I will say I was impressed. I love that it has a stainless steel drum for the washer that way you know that nothing will damage the inside of the washer. Love the fact that I can washer bigger loads since it has enough space to do so. The downside is that I literally have to get a small ladder to be able to reach the clothes at the bottom of the washer since it's so steep and I'm also very short so that doesn't help. I wish it had a setting for jeans like my previous washer and that the noise that it makes when a load is finished weren't so loud. So far I've been impressed with this washer and love washing clothes. I hope it lasts me as long as my previous washer did which I had for 12 years. I haven't used the app to be able to start a load on my app since I do tend to get weary of knowing if it will work correctly.

Smart and innovative laundry care

I was excited to finally upgrade my laundry appliances. My washer is over 22 years old. I love the active jet feature that lets me spot scrub stains. This Smart Samsung washer conserves water by measuring the amount of laundry in the drum. It then determines how much water to add to the drum. No more overfilling the washer and washing water. I also like the capacity size. I used to have to make trips to the laundromat to wash comforters and bulky blankets. This washer easily holds my large comforters and blankets, saving me time and money. The only downside for me is that this washer is deep. I am short so it is hard for me to reach the bottom of the washer to get the clothes out. I am happy with the Samsung Smart washer. The features are amazing and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I recently received this washer and it is great. First of all it looks really nice in the ivory with the copper trim. It is a nice upgrade from the plain basic washer I previously had. This is a very roomy washer that can easily fit a comforter. It is also high tech with WiFi built in. So far it has cleaned all my clothes very well and has many different settings if I wanted to wash different types of clothes. This washer has it all.

this washer is very nice large for a large familey. very quiet running and with the rubber feet it does not walk. a large amount of choices to wash different clothes. only issue is the soap/softner drawer is in the back they should move to the front. if they dont move it they should put a arm on the lid to close the drawer when the lid is closed.

We were really drawn to the original features of this top load washer. The Ivory color is very comfortable and a nice change from white or stainless. We also like the wider, shallower drum making it easier to reach clothes on the bottom.

I am able to operate aome controls from the smart things app and get alerts when my clothes are done. I like all the options on the machine from the timer to the water temp. I am also able to wash alot of clothes in 1 load with this washer. Not a huge fan of the song that plays when my laundry is finished.
