20 minutes initial rinse is cold. Wash is the next 20 minutes and it's cold. I can taste soap on my dish ware. Item delivered with broken heating element element. 2nd heat element broken, third element works per the technition and 4th service call tech said it is meant to have initial rinse and main wash in cold water.
Working with Bosch and appliance store on sending this back and purchasing a Cove brand.

There aren't many panel-ready dishwashers, in any size, and this was pretty much our only choice. It's OK. There are no particular eco features to save energy. It doesn't allow you to skip the drying cycle--"express wash" is the only setting that doesn't waste electricity drying, and that's not suitable for every load. There's no cycle that's a middle ground between fast and interminably long. The door is difficult to prop open for air circulation and there's no latch or anything that I can discern to hold it open. The utensil basket and top tray is flimsy, but I do like the top tray for lightweight plastic lids and such. The bottle/vase prop is also neat, though the bottle didn't come clean so I can't say it works. It's noisier than my last dishwasher that was 20 years old. So no, I don't really like it much, but I'm stuck with it.

Most importantly, our Bosch Dishwasher cleans exceptionally well! On top of that it has been designed very well to facilitate loading and unloading. Lastly, it is very quiet!

This is our third Bosch dishwasher over the past 30 years serving our family of 6. First unit replaced another brand. Second unit was in a new home and we used it for almost 20 years and gave it away in working condition as the new kitchen remodel caused us to need a different size dishwasher.
Consistently clean results with a machine that just keeps working.
This latest model we now have with our kitchen remodel is very smart, tunable to your every need. This is also our first panel ready which allowed our cabinet maker to make a custom front that matched our other new cabinets.

The only good thing about this dishwasher is that dishes generally get clean. The pull out trays are horrible for loading dishwater. The silly, tiny top drawer is useless and it makes the middle drawer so short not much fits into the middle drawer. Then the bottom drawer has horrible prongs in it for bigger

I had a Bosch dishwasher for 16 years and I loved it! When it died, I replaced in with the 800 Series Custom so I would have the wood panel on the front that matches my cabinetry. The installer showed me that the dishwasher had to be lower than the old one, so when the door is open you see the top of the dishwasher and the bottom piece of wood would not fit, so now I look at the metal bottom of the dishwasher.

I have owned this dishwasher for almost a year now and I love it! It does a fantastic job cleaning the dishes and it is super quiet. One of the best features is the light that shines down on the floor when the dishwasher is running, so there is no question when the cycle is finished.

We recently rennovated our kitchen and installed this Bosch dishwasher with the option for a custom front to blend in with our cabinetry.
The dishwasher was exterremly easy to install and worked perfectly with the included custom face template.
The wash quality of the Bosch is great - much better than the Dacor model we had in our last renovation before moving.
The wifi interface was not a reason for us to purchase, but I've appreciated the automatic updates that the washer gives me via the Bosch app.
I'd recommend this model for anyone looking for a high quality build, great washing capabilities and a respectable price.

THE BOSCH DISHWASHER CLEANS WELL. THE RACKING SYSTEM IS HORRIBLE. IT WAS NOT THOUGHT OUT VERY WELL. DIFFICULT TO LOAD NORMAL EVERY DAY DISHES. I APPRECIATE THE RED LIGHT INDICTING THE DISHWASHER IS WORKING. IT SHOULD CHANE COLOR WHEN FINISHED. WE OFTEN FORGET THAT IT WAS TURNED ON THE NIGHT BEFORE. ALSO THE AD FOR THE CABINET OPTION IS MISLEADING. I HAD 3 ADULTS READ IT AND WE ALL 3 ASSUMED AND BELIVED THT THE DOOR PICTURE CAME WITH THE PRODUCT. MY EXTRA COST WAS ALMOST AS MUCH AS PURCHASING ANOTHER DISHWASER AS WE HAVE OVER $600 IN ADDITIONAL COSTS. OVERALL MY FAULT BUT THE DESCRIPTION SHOULD BE CLEARER. THE DISHWASHER IS QUIET AND CLEANS WELL.

Has never worked. Problem is Bosch's customer service. They contract out repairs, but don't approve the repairs. Have already have 2 repair companies come out. 8 months, and never been used. The problem with appliances is that they break. Or they don't work. So it's important to have GOOD SERVICE. Doesn't exist. Don't recommend. Contrast this to the Fisher Paykel customer service--a real person answers the phone!

Cleans well and very quiet. However, I was surprised that all the racks and pulls are plastic despite this being a made-in-Germany model. I had an older Bosch model in an apartment, and the metal parts it feel more durable and quality. This ADA version also feels...small. We had to go with ADA for space with an uneven floor, but it's a more noticeable difference.

It worked great most of the time for about a year. Then we started getting error messages. It would work for a few days and then the error message would come back. Sometimes the butttons worked, sometimes not. A repairman found a leak but said because of the new design, it wasn't really fixable.

Works well, quiet, no issues. Very functional. Not too big but not too small. Need to be carefuly installed so sensors are aligned. Since it's hidden inside the cabinet, it has a nice read dot on the floor to indicate operations.

I work as a designer and Bosch apparently does not provide detailed install instructions. I contacted customer support and was told to get that info from my local dealer. Note: If the local dealer has that info, then they got it from somewhere and it should be made available to any customer directly from the manufacturer.

After a kitchen renovation this is our second Bosch Dishwasher. Just the the first, it is quiet, washes thoroughly with several useful options, and the dry feature works perfectly. Only complaint is that the stainless forks and spoons sometimes move from their resting place.

Our old Gaggenau dishwasher just up and died. I worked with Friedman's Appliance i Concord, and found this model of Bosch would accomodate our custom front panel from our kitchen remodel in 2002. This is fortunate, becasuse we love the German white oak veneer on all the panel and cabinets in the kitchen, so wee didn't want to lose this panel. Since installation, we have used the new dishwasher regularly.
It is qwuiet, just as quiet or wuieter than our old Gaggenau. It has an Express 30 minute cycle that is perfect as we try to conserve water in California. Express is quicker and quite thorough, cleans nicely. I like the interior layout, for plates, silverware, bowls. We are already seamlessly using the new dishwasher like it's been here forever. Thanks, Bosch for your research and development, your innovation.

The new 800 Bosch series dishwasher I do not recommend: 1) first and foremost brand new out of the box and to this day the dishwasher inside stinks terrible like it was made with recylcled rubber - its very bad and nothing gets the stink out 2) the interior organization and levels of the dishwasher are odd and do not enable you to place the contents in without them tipping - very strange, 3) the smart dishwasher concept - does not work, a complete joke and gimmic. Do not recommend.

I had this exact same dishwasher that I purchased 12-13 years ago. Dried well, was super quiet. It was also panel ready so obviously we had a custom panel on it. Loved it and wanted the exact same thing but I'm not impressed. To me, it doesn't meet the Bosch standards. First of all, I specifically asked the appliance store if there would be an issue with the old cabinet panel fitting...of course it will fit, I was assured. It did not. If the panel measurements are different, there should be a way to identify that. I had to hire a carpenter to retrofit the panel, which meant chopping part of the bottom of the cabinet off. It's much shorter than my other cabinets and exposes the ugly metal bottom. When the washing machine is running through the cycle, it's very quiet but when it's draining the water it's extremely loud. I don't know what difference between my old vs new would cause that. Lastly, it doesn't dry the dishes. I always have the crystal dry function on and the dishwasher is always wet when the cycle is done. I just opened the dishwasher. I ran it last night. It finished at 7:15pm. It's now 9:30am. It's still very wet. The one thing better than the old is that I know have control on an app. App is pretty good.
