The surface of this range is horrible. Only have used a few times and the top is showing marks that seem to be coming from the underside of the surface. Unbeliveable is this short amount of time the top looks this way!!! This range should be picked up and replaced asap. If not, it should be picked up and refunded.

The oven is a tiny bit smaller than expected, but I like it overall. I was disappointed that there was an approximately 2-3 inch scratch on the cooktop surface upon delivery. The controls are easy to read, as well are the cooking modes. Seems to be energy efficient.

We are extremely disappointed with the quality and reliability of this GE appliance. Our oven stopped working just 18 months after purchase, despite being used in a two-person household and maintained with care. After having it professionally diagnosed, we were told the control panel needs to be replaced, with an estimated repair cost of around $400. Considering the appliance is barely a year and a half old, this level of failure is unacceptable. Consumers reasonably expect a major kitchen appliance to function reliably for many years, not fail shortly after the one-year warranty period expires. Unfortunately, our experience with GE/Bodewell customer support has been equally frustrating. The representatives were not helpful in addressing the issue or offering a reasonable solution, leaving us responsible for an expensive repair on what should still be a relatively new product. For the price of a brand-new appliance, the durability and customer service should be significantly better. This has been a very disappointing experience and a poor return on what should have been a long-term household investment.

Shocked it stopped working on the 6th day

On the 6th day after having it delivered and installed by Lowe's associates the control panel for, well basically everything, no longer lit up. No clock, hot stove top, oven controls - nothing. Luckily the burners still operated but I could not cook anything in the oven as I could not turn on, adjust temp etc. I was very surprised as everything seemed to be operating fine until I went in the kitchen and noticed the range clock not lit. I checked my breakers, then tried a burner and to my wonder it still worked. The first Lowe's associate I spoke to was awful and I demanded to speak to a supervisor. I am to have a replacement delivered hopefully Friday and return the defective stove. The Manager did say she was doing me a favor and if the second one doesn't work, there is nothing they can do as Lowe's has a 48 hour return policy on appliances. That, in itself, is absolutely ridiculous and had I been told that when purchasing my new stove and fridge I would not have bought from Lowe's. You can bet your bottom dollar I will be registering the replacement stove and should I have any issues, I will be notifying your customer service dept. immediately and I doubt I will be in a very good mood. But I tell myself, what are the chances of receiving two lemons aka defective stoves in a row??

This is a great stove. The cooktop cleans well. The oven is large and heats evenly and the burners heat evenly. I wish the bottom drawer was bigger and the alert noise was a bit longer and louder. Other than that, it has been a great purchase.

The oven has been great! It stays hot and the burners seem to be reliable. Cleaning the top with a ceramic polish has proven to get the glass top perfectly clean too! GE customer service and user experience sucks though. No complaints about the oven but registering for my warranty I was *required* to put in a phone number and was informed that gave them express permission to contact me and, because every company is trash now surely, sell my phone number to their friends. I would avoid this company if I could but they're all awful. At least it's not Samsung!

The 5th element/burner is only a warmer and works well with aluminum bins to keep foods warm. Easy to clean with the ceramic cleaner. Only issue is that the front of the oven lip gets super hot after using the oven. I love the one eye that can be either used as large or small. I have yet to use the crisper... Still reading and coming along the way. It's a nice stove and oven. It heats evenly and let me know that my old oven was just that, old.

Only one burner has the 6 or 9 in feature The bottom drawer has no way to pull from the middle. You have to grab by the sides to pull out. Drawer seems kind of flimsy as it doesn't go back in straight the first most of the time. I've had to fiddle with it a bit to get it back in straight. It's frustrating when all you want to do is get a pan, but you end up fighting the drawer several times just to get it back in straight. For the amount of money I paid for it, I shouldn't have to do that.

The black looks fantastic with my maple cabinets and golden copper granite if you are looking for an alternative to the stainless steel look.
