I have started to used ge filters for my drinking water and refrigerator ice cubes. I cannot stand to see people buying plastic bottles of water, very bad for the environment. These filter out flavors from ancient pipes and who knows what else. If you are concerned about the environment, these are a good beginning. Overall I am very impressed with the effectiveness of these filters and will be using them for a long time. Bye bye water bottles!

These are refill filters for the GE dual flow water filtration system. I've had no problems finding them in stores other GE filters are sold. It was very easy to replace, similar to the filter we replace on our GE refrigerator.I recommend this product.

The GE water filtration filter replacement cartridges are amazing at filtering unwanted pollutants from your water. They're cheap, last 300 gallons or 6 months, and can easily be replaced in a matter of seconds. The old cartridges twist out, about 3/4 of a turn, and the new ones twist in, also about 3/4 of a turn. If you want high quality filtered water at an affordable rate and easy to change filters, the GE filters are the way to go. I would definitely recommend checking them out. You can't go wrong with GE!

These were so easy to install. They work wonderfully. I love the fact that I can have a water filtration at home with filters. When I first got it I was a little skeptical about it being very difficult to put in. But it was not it was very easy and I do feel that it remove things from my water that are harmful.

I have to be completely honest, I know nothing at all about water filtration systems. I don't know what makes them work, I don't know why one filter system is better than another. This might be great but I can't tell one from another.

These filters are replacement filters for the GE under sink filtration system. They reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and lead among other things. These filters will last for 6 months and give you much better tasting water.

It was very easy to change the filters on my GE dual Water filtration system. It only took me a couple of minutes and was much easier than dragging home all those heavy purified water bottles. I highly recommend this filtration system. My water tastes much better than regular tap water and also better than the bottle stuff I was buying. Try it. I think you will like the convenience.

This is a really good filter. The water has a very pleasant taste and does leave any bad after tastes. It was easy to replace the filter in the system . I would definitely recommend purchasing for your system.

If you have the dual filtration system by GE, you have to replace the filter every 6 months for the system to work properly. My husband switched this out quite easily. Once again, the water flow is great but there is always the initial strange taste that you get used to after a while

These water filters function as replacement filters for the GE Dual Flow Water Filtration System. They filter water effectively, leading to better tasting, cleaner water. (For your specific filtration needs I would recommend getting your city water report online, and cross checking that with GE to make sure this filter meets your needs. GE is pretty good about letting you know what this will and will not work for.)
Replacement is fairly easy, with clear instructions (Youtube videos can be found for those who prefer visual instructions).
Water flows quickly from the filter and the filtration system has a light to let you know when the system needs replacement. If your water contains a lot of particles you may find the filters don't last the full six months.

The GE Flow Water Filtration System replacement canisters are easily able to insert and take out of the filtration system. The water does not have a chlorine taste or odor to it. No tools needed to replace these filters. These filters need to be replaced every 6 months but, I wish they could last longer. They have a 30 day warranty.

I love to drink water especially that's getting really hot. Are used to have to carry bottles and bottles of water from the store but no more. I hope this up myself under the sink and it just works great. Delicious clean water on demand.

These filters work really great with the GE water filtering devices. I was really impressed how clear my kitchen water was. Seems it caught most of the impurities in my drinking water. The water taste 100% better then before!

DUAL FLOW WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM Is pretty good. Installation was a little tricky. But other than that i love it. Water taste great. You can really tell the difference. Changing g the filter is super easy. I will definitely be recommending to all my friends and family:

The GE Replacement Water Filter Set is long lasting and easy to change in and out. I love that it reduces so many contaminants. In my area, we have so many superfund sites and this helps calm my worry about the water quality. I can feel good knowing that lead and many pharmaceuticals are filtered from my family's water.

This Dual Flow Replacement filter removes the typical chlorine taste and order from my drinking water, employing the taste of my water. It also removes lead and other contaiments that most tap water contain. I love the six month life of this filter, so this dual pack will last an entire year.

This cheap plastic unit started leaking about 5 months after purchase. I've replaced the filter and tried plumbers tape underneath the O-rings to create more pressure with no success. The seal where the filter screws in seems as if it's not tight enough. Poorly molded plastic parts may be to blame

This filter is the oem replacement for a new filter system I had to install to replace an older system because those filters were no longer available and neither GE or aftermarket filters worked right.
This new system connects to the regular kitchen faucet rather than it's own separate one, so flow is strong and fast do to that.
But have to say, no taste/smell issues and we've had the water company doing work in our area, unfiltered water has a brown tint, filtered in crystal clear.
I just hope GE doesn't discontinue this filter.

This filter has manifested and anomolous breach at the seam which almost flooded my home. I am so glad I was home that night. GE cutomer support was horrid. Just sayin... caveat emptor.

FQK2J is meant to replace FQSVF; however, FQK2J is nearly 1.5 in. longer than FQSVF. It doesn't fit into the existing space. I have three options: 1. hire someone to make the space bigger, 2. install a different unit which can fit into the existing space, or 3. stop using it entirely. From a design perspective, it is a total design failure. Design 101, any engineer would know that in order to design a replacement, they need to consider what's in the past, not just design something in the future.

Honestly I can't believe all the whining on here. I've been using this under sink filter for a couple years now, no problems, water tastes good. We have a Sodastream, and we use filtered water for that, tea, coffee, and drink a lot of straight water besides. I'm also an amateur beer brewer so we put this thing to good use, all the time. Get food grade silicone grease at Ace Hardware for a couple bucks fercryinoutloud. Filter replacement is super easy. I can't imagine a better filter at this price point.

I had this water filtration system installed under my sink over 3 years ago. I did have to replace the mechanism once because it leaked. But the replacement filters are easy to install, I use vegetable oil as a lubricant for the O ring which is fine and doesn't have an effect on the filter. I like the way my tap water tastes because of the filters and I save lots of money because I don't need to buy bottled water.
